About Alana
Alana is a collaboratively certified practitioner with a focus on the human side of the law. To this end, she excels at helping her clients understand their legal rights and responsibilities and providing guidance to her clients on how to find real life solutions to their legal challenges. Practicing in the areas of family law, wills and estates, and residential real estate, Alana is an experienced and compassionate lawyer who works hard to empower her clients so that they can make informed decisions and participate in their legal processes in a meaningful way.
Originally from Calgary where she obtained a degree in political science from the University of Calgary, Alana came to Saskatoon as a single mother to study law, earning her LLB from the University of Saskatchewan in 2009. Following a year of articles in Swift Current with Legal Aid Saskatchewan, Alana joined the Saskatchewan bar in 2010 and began practicing law in Saskatoon where she has made her new home.
Alana is committed to her community and has given back through volunteer work with various local organizations including providing legal advice at CLASSIC and pro bono clinics and serving on the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Saskatoon.
